Gratitude In Your Life

Synonyms of gratitude are: thankful, appreciation, gratefulness, acknowledgement, etc. Think about how many times God has intervened in your life there's too many situations to count, and then think of all the times God has moved in  without you even realizing. God is constantly moving and fighting battles for us! He deserves all praise! Psalm 100: "Shout for joy to the Lord, all the earth.2 Worship the Lord with gladness; come before him with joyful songs.3 Know that the Lord is God. It is He who made us, and we are His[a]; we are His people, the sheep of His pasture.4 Enter His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise; give thanks to Him and praise His name.5 For the Lord is good and His love endures forever; His faithfulness continues through all generations." We should be exuberant when proclaiming God and delighted in Him. If the earth and every living thing shouts His praises why should we brush Him off and deny Him? Who are we to call Him Father? Who are we to have the privilege to have a landline through prayer to speak to the King of the world? Who are we to be called His children?Who are we to be granted forgiveness? We deserve nothing , and yet we are given everything. God isn't obligated to love us He CHOSE us He WANTS us; a sinful, shameless, & unworthy people. We should praise him.  "Thanksgiving is ultimately an expression of praise for who He is and what He has done." Not only does He deserve to be praised but he deserves to be served. "A grateful heart is a serving heart"  Desire to serve Him, let our reactions not be serving begrudgingly but with gladness. Also acknowledge God, acknowledge who He is, what He's done, and know the greatness of His name alone. "Thanksgiving begins with an acknowledgment of our need and how He has met that need"  Acknowledge that God made YOU, planned for YOU, delights in YOU, wants YOU, and provides for YOU! Everyone needs a guide through life God is that guide × a billion. We are sheep and He is our shepherd it is Him we have in that very first need of salvation. Matthew 18:12- "What do you think? If a man owns a hundred sheep, and one of them wanders away, will he not leave the ninety-nine on the hills and go loom for the one that wondered off?" God chases after us relentlessly, to acknowledge who He is and what He does is to believe accept, affirm, and act. God is good. God is good for eternity. God is and always will be good. We may not have alot to offer God but He has a lot to offer us. Therefore praise God with everything in your being, let it be known through your actions, speech, etc. that you worship the one and only true God! I'll close with this: "Bear your cross as you wait for the crown. Tell the world of the treasure you found."
